I passed my JPJ driving test!

Thursday, January 27, 2011

What a relieve! I just can't believe I passed the tests in the first round. I'm so glad!

I woke up at 6.45 today as my driving instructor said he will arrive at 8am and.........he did! He really did for the first time after 14 lessons. He arrived exactly at 8am. WOW! Just before I hopped into the car, I prayed to Buddha. This is what I prayed:

"Dear god, I hope today's weather will be a cloudy one. No rain, not sunny. Please let me pass this test because I don't want to have any driving lessons anymore. ( My driving instructor is always not on time. Said 9 but came at 11. -_- ) Please let me pass because this is my biggest new year wish ever. I hope my wish will be granted. Thank you. " LOL

I arrived at the driving center about 8.45am and was shocked that so many people were there already. They were people from the 1st batch which started at 8.30am. I were in the 2nd batch which will start around 10.30am after the 1st batch people have finished their tests. Not only was I in the 2nd batch, I got number 32, which means more waiting. So you can imagine waiting for my turn was like what a loooooooooooooooong dayyyyyyy................=_=

I sat there and observed how people drive the car, whether they passed or failed. Some people were driven back by the JPJ tester during the road test(section 3) and that means : FAIL. Sitting there watching them only made me more and more nervous. I was thinking :" What if I got a crappy car? What if I fail? No way. I can't fail. NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!''

Its 11.30am. Finally! The time has come! My number was called for section 2 and I started walking slowly towards the car. I told myself JUST DO IT! I went slow and steady all the way and passed! I'm so happy! Now that I have passed the section 2, there is only section 3 left.

After another long wait, it's finally my turn for the road test. I just can't wait to get it done already. I'm so tired of waiting, I don't really care whether I will pass or fail anymore.

I got into the car, greet the officer and did all the necessary things that could helped me to get points. That officer did not said anything at first but showed his true colours after I drove out from the driving center. He was frequently yelling and scolding at me, trying to make me nervous. Gosh, you can't expect me to be completely calm as it was the first time I'm driving alone. Haha! Believe me!

First mistake: Drove into the wrong lane.
That's when I............................got scolded!

Officer: Did you took any driving lessons before?!
Me: Er....yeah. (=.=)
Officer: Really? It seems like you don't!
Me: Har?? Ops....sorry, sorry. O_O

Second mistake: Did not stopped the car near the right-side of the road when I'm trying to turn into the driving center which is on my right.

Officer: Hey, stopped nearer to the right of the road la. How are the other cars going to pass by huh? Use your eyes to see la. You got eye-side problem is it? Please go to the hospital and check la...aiyoo!
Me: Ok,ok. LOL!

Well, that mistake wasn't completely my fault. My driving instructor had never let me drive by myself(I mean he was always holding the steering) or even drive back to the driving center. So how was I to know?

I was shocked almost to death after all the scolding. He's so mean! I thought I had failed the test but when he handed me the paper, OMG! 17/20! I passed!

Thank you god for hearing my prayers. It was a cloudy day today as I had wished. And I passed both tests too! My prayers were definitely heard. YAHOO!!! :D

I'm so nervous

Wednesday, January 26, 2011

I'm just like a nervous little kid sitting in front of the computer playing games thinking it would ease my nervousness. Its my driving test tomorrow.

I went for my last practice today and did not well. Not because I forgot the steps. I just couldn't control the steering well. Its either turned too fast or too slow.

There were other people who were practising too. All of them looked confident and well practiced ........except me. I was the only one who banged 4 poles in a row. Crash! Cling! Clang! LOL! My instructor was like :"Aiyoo.....this girl! What are you doing eh? Har?!" All eyes on me. How embarrassing! T^T

I got panic after that and almost banged another car. And then came another shout in my ear again. "Eh, drive safely la! Aiyoo...you ah!" T^T

That was a nightmare for me. I don't want any of this to happen to me tomorrow. It will be super embarrassing if it does.

So I'm praying hard that everything goes smooth tomorrow. I really wanted to pass. I'm believing the impossible right now. LET ME PASS! ^^

JPJ driving test

Friday, January 21, 2011

I'm worried about my driving test which is next Thursday, especially on the road test.

Its all because I nearly got into an accident today. =( I was driving at 50km/hour and was about to change my lane from left to right. I put my signal, slowed down and looked into the side-mirror. When I was about to enter the right lane, this license P car behind me didn't slow down. Instead it increased its speed and cut passed me. It almost banged my car!!! O.O!!!

I'm not sure if thats totally my fault or the others. Maybe I didn't slowed down my car enough. But that car is wrong to speed up when saw the car in front is trying to cut in.

That means I have to be extra careful when I'm on the road, especially next Thursday. I'm going to pray and hope that everything goes well on that day. I don't want this kind of incident to happen or else I'll fail.

A rare visitor....MEOW~~

Thursday, January 20, 2011

Why are you stalking me? Grrr....... LOL!

These two kitties have been visiting my house almost everyday. There parents brought them here, left them and came back for them in the evening as if my house was a kitty nursery. =="

I don't mind though because I got to play with these two cute kittens. MEOW~

My feet hurts!

Monday, January 17, 2011

Ouch! It hurts......it hurts!!! Boo hoo.... T^T

I sprained my ankle. I'm not sure when or how. Well there is only 2 possibility.

1.) I went shopping too much.
2.) I fell down(almost) on slippery floor because I'm wearing my old worn slippers.

But whatever is the reason, I'm going to buy another pair of new slippers for myself.

New Year Resolution

Friday, January 14, 2011

What should I do? Everyone asked me what have I done in my 3 months break and all I said is nothing much. This is really embarrassing. What?! Nothing? In 3 months? Are you serious?

Then, came this dream of somebody advising me to do some part-time jobs. Great! I guess this is what I need.

So, I made a list of new year resolution for myself.

New Year Resolution:

1.) Learn how to bake pineapple tarts & egg tarts
2.) Get license P
3.) Study accounting
4.) Revise economics & maths
5.) Get rid of acne scars

Korean Dramas

Wednesday, January 5, 2011

When it comes to korean dramas, the first to pop up in my mind is Full House. Although it is not my first korean drama but somehow it gave me a deep impression.

Surprisingly, this drama turns out to be a hit series around the world and becomes a starting point of the korean wave.

The second drama will be Goong also known as Princess Hours.

The bubbly personality of the main female character is so funny and lovable it makes me wanting for more!

Talk about the dramas I have watched lately, its Fugitive: Plan B and Mary Stayed Out All Night.

The story of Fugitive: Plan B revolves around Jini(main female character), the gold, polices, private investigators and those people behind the whole story. Well, I'm not going to explain the whole story as it is quite complicated. Just like IRIS.
This drama is full of actions especially from Rain. Rain acts as Jiwoo, a famous private investigator who later finds himself in trouble after accepting Jini's case.

Well, I'm going to stop right here and its up to you to find out the whole story.

Last but not least, this is the drama I'm watching right now. Its Mary Stayed Out All Night or Marry Me,Mary!

This is a romantic comedy. ( Just what I like!) Its kind of cheesy but its so funny and the main actors look so good together. Jang Geun Suk/Mu Gyul actually look good in long hair too. Prettier than me! Geez....seriously! He definitely caught my heart with his superb acting skills. I wonder why this drama is so underrated.

Here is the sypnosis for this drama:

Wi Mae Ri is the cheerful, pragmatic daughter of a failed businessman who had grown used to being constantly on the move to escape from debtors. She becomes fast friends with the free-spirited indie singer Kang Moo Kyul when she nearly ran him over in a car. Meanwhile, her father Wi Dae Han is saved from his debtors by his old friend, Jung Suk, who had just returned from considerable success in the Japanese entertainment industry. Jung Suk, who had harboured a secret love for Mae Ri's mother, sets up a deal with Dae Han to have Mae Ri marry his son, Jung In. In her desperate to escape this predicament, Mae Ri begs Moo Kyul to pose as her husband, and finds herself in even more trouble than before when her father proposes a 100-day period in which she has to divide her time equally between Moo Kyul and Jung In, after which she has to decide who to marry.

I'm currently watching episode 12. Four more episodes to go!

I'm so blur....

Can you believe it? I bought a skin food pedicure sparkle by accident! And it cost $7.40!!! Argggggh!!!!!! Why?! (I'm not a Singaporean but a Malaysian and that's what makes it a big deal.)

I passed by skin food shop and decided to take a look at some of the pedicure products. As usual, I tried one of the products and so happened to took the wrong one instead of the one labelled TESTER.

Ish....damn it!!! Why am I so stupid? I've now learned my lesson. Look before you touch!

p.s: Thankfully its not that bad. The colour is quite nice. Gold!

Yes. This is the one I'm talking about.

Pedicure Sparkle #7 Sparkle Sun Yellow.

Thank god this colour goes along perfectly with my beige colour slippers.
