Does korean idols study?

Tuesday, May 10, 2011

If you're not a k-pop fan, you've probably heard of SNSD or Girl's Generation. It's a group that has nine members and blah~ blah~ blah~~~

It was until now that I'm aware about their age. Their age gap was between 20 to 22. That means all of them should be still studying in university.

With their popularity and hectic schedule, I wonder how are they suppose to study?

My guess is they must be constantly skipping classes. With all the busy schedule, I believe their grades are .. erm... just average? Or even worst? These girls can't even get to enjoy their university life!

Sorry...I'm just using SNSD as an example since they're very popular right now.
By the way, they're currently promoting their new album.
You can view it here.

Accepted by MMU

Tuesday, May 10, 2011

Woohoo~ I got accepted by MMU. My university life is going to start soon. 29 May 2011 marks the end of my stupid-boring-nothing-to-do life at home. I'm looking forward to it right now.

It's compulsory to wear formal throughout the orientation week so that means I have to start looking for formal dresses. I was reluctant to accept the fact at first but if it's made compulsory then there must be a reason for it. I better look good in it.

I wonder how many people is in my batch this year. Last year's record was 500. So I guess it should be around 500.

I'm so excited about meeting new friends. I wonder what kind of people I'll meet. I was drown in total boredom because none of my friends are available to hang out with me. All of them were too busy with their studies.

Besides, I'll be staying away from home. Away for the nagging.

Hmm.... let me count. 19 days more to freedom! :)

Back to blog

Tuesday, May 10, 2011

It's been a long time, more than a month since my last post. My house is under renovation again. Mind my word : AGAIN. *sigh*... and so I've been busy helping my mum cleaning the house everyday for about a month. It's hard staying in the house for the whole day when your house is undergoing renovation. All the loud banging noises were driving me crazy.

I promised myself that I would post a blog a day but it seems that I failed to do so. So I'll be posting a few blogs for today.

Oh, MMU had accepted me and offered me foundation in management so I'll be studying there next month. I'm gonna start studying soon! Yay~!

However, my friend warned me that studying in MMU is boring and told me not to put my hopes too high but I don't care. I'm dead bored staying at home doing nothing for 8 months! YAWN~~

Anxiety

Thursday, March 31, 2011

Lying on the bed until the clock strikes 12 midnight. I was unable to sleep last night.

Its been 5 months since the last day I left my friends and studies in Sunway University for good. I didn't get to complete the A-level course that I've studied for 9 months. I wonder what people would think of me. To them I'll always be the girl who dropped A-levels just before AS exam. I could be easily taken for the girl-who-couldn't-cope-with-stress or girl-loves-to-waste-parents-money. Hmmm......yeah, whatever it is. The past is not what I'm concern about anymore but the future that lays ahead of me.

I've finally decided to study at a university in my hometown. I took foundation in management which will later on lead me to an accounting career.

I've ponder long and hard enough, wondering if I've made the right choice. Accounting is something I've no idea about. Some people told me:" it's a piece of cake." " It's nothing compared to studying to become a doctor or a pharmacist." But what if I don't like what I was studying? What if?! I don't want to regret for the rest of my life, would you?

After cleft palate surgery

Thursday, March 24, 2011

I went for cleft palate surgery two days ago, on Tuesday and OUCH! It hurts like hell! I couldn't talk much......pratically I am just mumbbling. Doctor told me I can eat nothing but only soft food, which means taking porridge almost everyday for a week.

I can get a taste of my own blood on the first day after surgery. The porridge I ate that day tasted like blood. Well, I guess its called the blood porridge. LOL! Every bite I took hurts even when I'm just swollowing my saliva. T_T

TVXQ!(東方神起) _ 이것만은 알고가 _ MusicVideo

Tuesday, March 15, 2011

The full version of the 'Before You Go' mv is finally out. Watching this reminds me of IRIS. Nonetheless, its nice. Good job to SM for compiling the whole story into a 5:19 minutes video, keeping it short and sweet.

I wonder if a part 2 of this mv will be released later on because it seems like it still has some loose ends. Besides, it may be on demand as TVXQ has a large fan base worldwide.

Teaser for TVXQ (東方神起)-Before You Go

Sunday, March 13, 2011

This teaser is so cool. Its the best music video teaser I've watched so far. SM Entertainment really did a great job in producing this teaser. It makes me feel anticipated about the new song and the video too. I am not a fan of TVXQ but both YunHo and ChangMin looks so cool and captivating here. Seriously! =D

I read somewhere that the full version of this song will be released on the 14th March. Can't wait for it as this teaser tease me so much. I hope it doesn't disappoint me. :)

Disaster in Japan

Saturday, March 12, 2011

News on Japan's disaster situation and aftermath is everywhere. They are all on the newspapers, television, radio, online news updates, facebook, twitter and even Google homepage. Google was sensible enough to post alert messages on their homepage to warn many countries like Philippines, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea and Hawaii about the aftermath of the earthquake.

I guess the situation in Japan is rather bad? NO! Its not bad. Its very serious. Japan is currently suffering from the aftermath of an 8.9 earthquake followed by a 30 foot tsunami hours later, causing destruction and many people to be homeless. Worse, it did not only took away the homes of many people but some of their lives too.

Life is just so unpredictable. It was such a fine day before 11 march 2011. No one knows such a terrible thing would happened to Japan. God bless them!

The end of My love, Patzzi

Tuesday, March 1, 2011

Finally finished watching My love,Patzzi. Its a korean drama which consists of only 10 episodes. Jang Nara is cute and I think she acts well in the drama. I love the drama songs too, especially 'sweet dream' and 'I'll be there for you' both by Jang Nara. However, I'm not satisfied with the ending.

It doesn't really show who Songyi really like. Is it Hyun Sung or Seong Joon? I know the answer is Hyun Sung but I feel they should have more scenes to show that they like each other very much. I'm so dissapointed. Ish.....

I still prefer Dalja's Spring over My love,Patzzi. Although Dalja's Spring is longer(22 episodes) but its worth watching.
