Mummy's weird breakfast

I woke up pretty late this morning because it's SATURDAY and I slept pretty late than usual yesterday. When I got down to where the dining table was, I found that my breakfast was already prepared.

Aww.... mum, that's so nice of you.

But when I take a look at my breakfast,

WTH was that?

But then my mum's response was:

Gosh mum, how could you compare me to a vampire?

Cousin: What? Who?
Me: Ah Gong la.....your grandfather. =.=
Cousin: OMG! We have a grandfather?

This just reminds me about the lion dance which the 'lion' never fails to scatter the vegetables all around the floor every chinese new year. When I was young, I used to be very excited about the lion dance although I was afraid of the 'lion'. The 'lion' would always scatter the broken pieces of vegetables around, making us children believe that the 'lion' actually chewed and ate the vegetables then threw some out because it couldn't finish it. After I grow up, I realised that the dance is no extraordinary event to me anymore. And the vegetables, it is just vegetables tore into pieces by humans and then simply scatter it around in a horrifyingly violent manner.

The awkward moment when...

There are many awkward situations in life and these might have been the reasons that inspired many people to share their awkward moments like for example through memes.

This is literally what happened to me during my mid-term exam a few days ago. LOL! I'm screwed. Really.

The awkward when....
you ask your friend what brand of bb cream she uses to apply on her skin and she stared at you as if you're talking about aliens out of the blue because she uses nothing but water and she has gorgeous skin.

AH!!! WHY?! You serious?!!!

*sigh* Talk about having superb genes. I've tried lots of products and there's still tons of pimples on my face. EPIC FAIL.

Okay, that's not exactly awkward.


I have 2 even more awkward moments I can remember in my life.

The first one....

The awkward moment when.....
you entered the lift, accidentally pressed on the alarm button instead of the door open button, and continue pressing the button while looking at each and everyone in the lift, wondering which of them is overweight.  =.="


And the most epic awkward moment I had so far in my life is when I was 15.

It was a sunny Friday afternoon. As usual, I was waiting for my friend's parents to come and fetch me to tuition. It was getting late already as the tuition starts at 2.00pm and my watch was showing 1.55pm but the car has not come yet. Anxiously, I waited.

Finally, a car stopped right in front of my house and swiftly I opened the door, sat and was all ready to go. I looked around me at each of the passengers and thought: "Hmm.....they don't look familiar. I wonder who are they. Eh, where is my friend? And the driver........................."

To my horror, immediately, I apologized and sprang out of the car like an olympic long jumper.

That car.....that car..........was my neighbour's friend's car!
Owh........how awkward and embarrassing. I feel like banging the wall.

A visitor from an invisible country

My blog stats per day isn't stable at all. Some days, I can reach 40+ pageviews (rarely) while other days I only get 1 pageview (rarely nowadays).

A few days ago, I checked my stats (I check almost on daily basis) and found there's only 1 visitor. Curiously and automatically, my mouse found its' way to the Audience button and clicked it.

I see NOTHING!

I was wondering if blogger had forgotten to highlight the location of Puerto Rico on the map with green colour. Later on, I googled and found out Puerto Rico is an island located somewhere along the Caribbean Sea.

Somewhere in the circled area.

Puerto Rico is so tiny, as tiny as Singapore (perhaps smaller?) that it couldn't be seen in this map. Perhaps blogger should enlarge the map so that these tiny little islands can be seen someday.
